I always tried to get into shape, but was utterly unable to get into the exercise routine and was steadily getting heavier and more depressed. I got to the point where I could not persuade myself to get off the couch and run half a mile. I was always drawn to metaphysical concepts and the like, and one day I was randomly searching through the internet and stumbled onto "The Secret" website. I was so intrigued, I immediately ordered a copy of the DVD. I watched it several times and visualized myself running for miles and miles. I also compiled a gratitude list and read it many times over. Within five days I was running six miles a day and still had energy to spare! I was so surprised and delighted I told my friends about The Secret and started using the techniques to generally better my life.

I am SO excited to share my story! When I happened to recently learn about The Secret DVD and book, I was confined to a wheelchair and suffering from a severe foot condition and other medical maladies that the doctors could see on x-rays and other radiographic studies but could not cure. I absolutely could not walk and nothing that was tried took away the constant stabbing pain in my feet. That said, please note that as I write this I just ordered The Secret DVD and book less than two weeks ago. Not only am I now walking again WITHOUT PAIN, I am regaining all my health. Since beign inspired by The Secret book I’ve even given up my eyeglasses and can see EVERYTHING clearly for the first time in 45 years! I’m so excited that I want to share this good news and The Secret with everyone I know and have already ordered copies for several family members. The DVD and book are both so well put together and easy to understand that applying the principles of the Law of Attraction, which always works whether one believes in it or not, is quite a simple process. I’m SO happy and grateful that this work was done to provide the people of the world with real tools to achieve what I used to think of as miracles. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Secret Saved My Life

A year ago I almost jumped off the balcony of a 7-story resort. The only reason I didn’t is because an angel (at least that’s how I think of him) on the rooftop across the way asked me not to jump that night, maybe tomorrow, but not now. I went back into my bedroom where my husband asked me if anything was wrong. I asked, "Why do you care?" His reply was, "Well, I wouldn’t want you to kill yourself because I cannot afford any more problems right now." This should give you some idea of what my once fairy-tale marriage of 8 years had become. My self-esteen was in the toilet. Over the last 3 years I had allowed my husband to treat me with utter contempt. I had given up a successful career, unwittingly alienating my closest friends, even my family, to please this man. My health was in serious trouble. I had lost 50 pounds in two months...I had developed Hashimoto’s disorder. We had been planning to retire to the Caribbean this spring, and so I had shut down my consulting business at his insistence. Then in December he announced out of the blue that he wanted a divorce and that I needed to move out by Christmas. I had trusted him with my retirement money, which he lost in his stock market experiments. A multimillionaire, he had also made me sign a prenuptual agreement years ago. Bottom line: I was left with nothing and seemingly no recourse. Penniless, without a job, without a home, on the verge of dying from an out of control hyperthyroid, I thought my life was over. Yet the moment I let go of the marriage and became grateful that I was still alive, amazing things began to happen. I had heard of the Law of Attraction years ago, but had never really consciously employed its principles. Instinctively, I began reaching out to friends and family. I put my pride in my pocket and revealed to them my difficulties, and I asked for help from them, from God. I had never asked for help before in my life, from anyone. Simply by asking for what I needed...shelter, food, clothing, love, kindness, compassion, money, a job....one by one they have all appeared. For my fiftieth birthday present, my parents loaned me the money to hire a good lawyer and he secured a $50,000 property settlement from my ex so I at least had something. Eight months later, I have a wonderful job that I love and where I am highly valued. I have a comfortable home, my ex’s two sons and their wives and kids have rallied around me, my friends and family have returned to support me, I am showered daily with love and kindness by my colleagues and loved ones. Still yet, the most amazing thing is the improvement in my health. My heart rate is down from 120 bpm to only 85! My blood pressure has dropped significantly. And I am not on medication, just using acupuncture to keep my body energy flowing correctly. And I know this is just the beginning. Watching The Secret about two months ago made me realize that I had been using the Law of Attraction. And that I could duplicate such feats and even bigger ones over and over again… simply by asking, believing and being grateful for each moment in my life. I have asked for additional things and I can already tell that they will be showing up in my life very soon. Thank you for creating such an extraordinary movie. I play it over and over again to remind myself that there is no limit to what can be achieved simply by asking and being grateful. I have given copies away to loved ones who are also creating their own miracles. Bless you!

Tooth decay disappeared

I’ve always had fear of dentists… so after watching the secret i thought why not try to see if it works for tooth decay.



Everyday I’d close my eyes visualizing the tooth decay disappearing. I’ve done that for a week.

Then I’d say Thankyou God for my healing and continue living my life knowing and believing that it is gone. 3 months later, i did another X-ray and guess what? It was GONE.

We put it out there, and got what we wanted!

My father-in law passed away suddenly a few months back. My husband was devastated. The company, whom he worked for for 21 years, complained that he had, "taken excessive time off." A total of nine working days. Later that week, we were given The Secret. I couldn’t believe what I was experiencing! The first 20 minutes had already made a profound impact on us. The next morning, my husband drove to his job and quit. He had a new job that same day, with better pay, benefits AND retirement! He has been so happy and for the first time ever I heard him say that he loves his job. A few weeks ago, I printed a check from the "Universal Bank" and put it on the wall next to my computer at work. (I figured if it worked for my husband, it will work for me too.) Just this week, I got the dollar amount that I wrote on the check for my Christmas bonus! We put it out to the Universe what we wanted.....and we got it! This movie has TRULY been a life changer. If within two months we’ve been able to accomplish this, what will stop us from getting more of what we really want? What a great example for us to set for our son! I can feel the change in me. I feel better, have more energy, I am happier, I KNOW that I can have the life I want. I don’t focus on what I HAVE to do, I focus on what I WANT to do. And it happens! "Your wish is my command."

Our Amazing Change

Three years ago, before we had even heard of the Secret, my husband & I were living in a small town where we were terribly unhappy, we had no quality of life, had huge financial troubles & hated our jobs, where we both earned little money & worked very hard. One day I took a book out at the library written by Louise L.Hay… this book literally changed our lives. The basic principles of the book was the same as what the secret is all about. We decided to take action & put it to the Universe that we trusted & allowed the Universe to show us the way. We both resigned our jobs, sold all our possessions & left that horrible town behind, never to look back again. Within a short time, my husband was offered a fantastic job, with a company car & all the perks he never had before.

We now live in a beautiful coastal town, a real paradise.. & all our debt is paid off. We can now live again! Not just scrape through. We have been so blessed ever since we decided to put our lives in the hands of the Universe. We know that the Universe never fails to take care of us. We live in gratitude every day for all we are blessed with & for all the blessings we are still going to receive. We learned to just trust & leave it with the Universe & the angels. Because whatever the situation is, it is being sorted, even as we speak! May all who read this be blessed in whatever way you are requiring to be… Abundance & love to you all!

The Universe confirmed the Secret for me an hour ago!

Although I have known the basic teachings of the Secret, lately I had been very down due to a string of unfortunate circumstances with everything including money and family health issues. I haven’t even watched The Secret yet, but a good friend told me that she has and that I should watch it when the dvd comes in. I immediately looked up the website and started reading all the stories. I decided to try an experiment as well.

My husband and I own a little retail store downtown, and there is this one Bigfoot figure we carry that has been sitting on the shelves for a long, long time. Today I decided that one of them is selling today and even wrote on a piece of paper that, one is selling today. I went in and opened the store, and my first customers were 2 boys. One bought a mask, and the other bought the Bigfoot toy!!!!! I couldn’t help grinning as I rang him up, amazed by how quickly the Universe responded to my little test! I didn’t even try to "sell it" to him, he just went right to it and brought it up to the register, an item that had been sitting there for months without any attention.

Needless to say, it really shifted my mood and the way I have been thinking lately to beleive that ANYTHING is really possible!

I’m ready to go a little bigger - maybe slowly just to keep the doubts at bay, but now I know, again, that magic exists for all of us!

I was driving back home from picking up some take-out dinner last Wednesday. While driving, I was thinking about how different my life is today from where it was just a few years ago. I started thinking about the vacations we’ve taken (Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Cancun, Africa, Whistler BC, etc.), the money we’ve created, the experiences we’ve manifested (meeting David Copperfield, having a conversation with Phil Keoghan (host of The Amazing Race television show, meeting Michael Losier, etc.)... ....and as I was driving, I started feeling that wonderful bubbly feeling in my chest. Just pure joy of being alive and understanding that I’m actually creating all of these experiences myself. And, for me, when I feel that "bubbly" feeling, that’s when I know I’m vibrating at the right place. So, I laughed out loud and said, "Okay, I’m going to receive $5,000 in the next 24 hours". I meditated on that for a moment, let it go and walked in the house to eat with my family. The next night, Jessica and I are talking about some of the principles and how they work....and I told her about my intention for $5,000. And that it’d been about 28 hours. So far, nothing had happened at all. We’d already made quite a bit of money at that point in the week but I was looking for a specific amount in response to the "seed" I’d planted in my subconscious. But, nothing had happened. And I’ve been doing this long enough that I’m not disappointed when it seems that it’s not an exact science. So, I didn’t give any attention to the apparent "lack of results". The next morning, I was helping catching up on email and the phone rang. When I picked it up, these are the first words I heard: "Tony? This is Jeff. Check your bank account." Without getting into a side story about how it happened, etc.....I had $20,990 sitting in my bank account from someone who was not even on my radar. He was someone who I hadn’t spoken to in months and there was absolutely no reason to think that I would be receiving this money. So, it took 36 hours...but it was a LOT more than my intention was set for. And if there’s a moral to the story, it’s this: not only do these principles work...but they can work dramatically, quickly and quite a bit more efficiently than we sometimes imagine. So, I thought I’d repeat the process as another litmus test. I set an intention for $8,000 or more in the next 48 hours. In less than six hours, I got a phone call that informed me that I have $8,000 coming via FedEx. It arrived the next morning.

BEAUTY BEGINS WITHIN

In 1995 I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and told that my thyroid had shut down. I was just restarted on medication to replace the hormone needed. I believe that with the power of the Secret, I am healed. Last night, we sat in the livingroom spell-bound as we watched The Secret for the first time. I have put it into practice today, all day. We own a florist shop and greenhouse. This is historically the slow time of the year. Yesterday, I had 2 customers. Last night I made it my preference to be busy. Today, I had 12 customers. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!! It happens so fast. I made a list last night with all my preferences, and began visualizing them. I didn’t get through all of them, however, the one I remember vividly was a string of people coming to the shop. Today, it happened. All I have to say is I AM FREE!! May you all be blessed abundantly as I am. I thank God, and the Universe’s power of attraction for all the blessings to come. My new attitude of gratitude is AMAZING!! Happiness is mine!

Making it yours.

A few years I was getting frustrated with my old computer—it couldn’t take any more upgrades, and wouldn’t support Microsoft Word, which was the program most publishers accept submissions in. I went to the store that carried Macs to get a new computer and purchased the smallest notebook they had. While I was there I sat in front of the new iMac and played around. "Some day," I thought, "You will be mine..." I really saw it, sitting on my desk, all sleek and white. A few months later, an Apple store opened up in Reno and I went there for the grand opening. They had forms for a raffle, so I filled one out, thinking, hey, someone’s gotta win, right? I figured it was for an iPod or something, and didn’t really give it much thought, but I did sit down in front of another iMac, and again I pictured this wonderful computer on my desk at home. I bet you can guess what happened… I got a phone call a few weeks later saying that I had one the grand prize at the Apple store - A brand new iMac AND a new printer to go with it, AND a digital camera, AND a new Sony videocamera… and oh yeah, an iPod too! This was before I had seen "The Secret," so needless to say, I am blown away to realize that I was doing the visualization. I just figured I got lucky for once, but now I realize that luck is what you make for yourself, with the help of the loving, abundant universe. Thank you so much for sharing The Secret with us.

Dream come true!

I was introduced to the secret about 4mths ago by a friend who had received "The Secret" dvd as a gift. My husband and I sat down to watch and were completely blown away by this fantastic movie. It was like a switch had been turned on and life suddenly made sense. The very next day I made a wish book of all the things I wanted in my life and cut out pictures out of magazines to represent these. I would look at my book not everyday but most days and imagined and felt that I already had all of it. I began to give thanks for all that I did have and all that I was to receive. A couple of months passed and I bought my son a children’s dvd which had a competition in it for a family holiday to Australia. Without really thinking too much about it I entered the competition and last week received a phone call to say I had won!! I immediately gave thanks to the universe for this wonderful gift and what amazed me even more was the fact that this holiday was the same as the picture I had put in my wish book!! Since learning "The Secret" my husband’s and my finances have improved and so has life in general. There is no doubt what-so-ever in my mind that ‘the secret’ works. I am forever eternally grateful and now know that we all are deserving of having and experiencing life’s abundances!


7months & sold

I had never heard of The Secret until I watched the Oprah show and was instantly fascinated and empowered. 7mths before watching the show my husband and I decided to purchase a new home and leave our current home empty until it sold. It was a very big gamble given the real estate market downfall but we were feeling optimistic that it would sell quickly, if it didn’t sell fairly soon we would be in serious financial trouble. We had over 20 open houses in 7mths with no offers, you couldn’t go a block without seeing a for sale sign, I was getting very discouraged and really stressed out with having to carry two mortgages. After watching the Oprah show I encouraged my husband to watch the movie with me on our computer, that was on a Friday. The following Sunday I had to go over to the house and clean out the garage and decided at that point to use what I had learned by watching The Secret. I asked once for the sale of the house, I visualized a sale pending sign, I felt grateful, and I let it go. As I turned around to close the garage and return to my car, there was a gentleman picking up a flyer from the realtor sign on my lawn, the next day was Monday and my realtor called to let us know we had 3 offers on the house. We closed escrow 45days later. I’m a believer. It didn’t sell sooner because my thoughts and feelings and attachment to that house wouldn’t let it go. Since then I’ve purchased the book and I’m incorporating the secret in to my everyday life.

A Surprise in My Mailbox

When I watched the secret, I decided to ask for and visualize receiving $3000 in seven days. Everyday I would say, "I will receive $3000 in seven days." Then it occurred to me that if I kept saying that, it money would always be seven days away. So then I started to count down the seven days by saying, "I will receive $3000 in six days… in five days and so on. Finally, when I got to the last day, nothing happened. Well, a week and a half later I went to the mailbox to get my mail as usual, and there was a letter from my mother, and if you haven’t guessed yet, it contained a check for $3000 to help with the wedding. I had not discussed needing money with mother and some may argue that it is no surprise that a mother would send money to a daughter who is getting married, but what blew me away was it was the EXACT amount that I asked for!

We were not planning on moving. We actually live in one of the hottest realestate markets right now. However, a friend of ours came across a foreclosed home that seemed to be made just for us. We walked through it once and knew that we wanted it. My husband was skeptical that we could get it. It’s a more expensive home than we thought we could afford. We worried about selling our home, as we still had not finished repairs and renovations to it. My mother sent me her copy of The Secret dvd as soon as she heard of our situation. I held on to it for a couple of days before I watched it. Literally in the middle of the movie, my realtor called me to tell me that our offer was accepted...they didn’t even counter! But while watching the movie, I was visualizing that house being mine. I KNEW it was mine. That same week our house sold to an investor for our full asking price...and he paid in CASH!!! This made me a believer. My life feels so much fuller...I feel reborn almost! My way of thinking has completely changed, and I’m a more loving person now. We are all connected...we need to love each other.

Since discovering The Secret I’ve asked for and got £10,000 in the form of a lovely contract as Marketing Director for a local web development firm, 2 days a week. Next I asked for lots of varied copywriting work, which is what I love best. This is amazing - the copywriting work is flooding in and my customers are all kind, happy, mellow fast payers. Wow. Not only that, The Secret is giving me all sorts of little things that I’ve always wanted, and it’s allowing me to ask for - and get - all sorts of brilliant things and feelings and reactions from people. Absolute magic. The next thing? My career as an artist is just about to take off, with a painting about to be accepted into the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition at the RA in London. Why do I know this? Because I’ve already asked for my paintings to sell, and they’re selling. What more can I say? Life’s an absolute dream… have faith. It works. PS. Love to the universe and everyone in it!

Forgive to Receive

I was introduced to the Secret through the show on Oprah. Before this date I had a bad case of depression. On February 16, 2007 I decided to STOP feeling sorry for myself and give this Secret idea a chance. I wrote out everything as instructed by the show. I listed the people that I wanted to Forgive, a list of what I was Thankful for, and a list of things I Wanted. I felt so uplifted from that day forward. I felt like the case of depression had been removed and I had a new found joy in my heart. I shared with my kids my new way of thinking and they were happy to see me Happy!

One of the things that I asked for is my experience of going to the mail be a joyful one, for me to want to go to the mail. Since the Secret my child support checks have gone from puny to $350. I got a refund from the IRS, and I keep getting money in the mail. One of the persons that I had forgiven was my brother, yet I still had hurt feelings toward him. He owed me money and was to pay me from the sale of a home. Weeks went by and no sale and no money. Then one day I got this feeling, this idea that I needed to Really Forgive him and to release all those angry or hurt feelings and Truly FORGIVE him. I prayed for him, forgave him again that day and I meant it from my heart. The very next day, I got his check in the mail. I sent him a thank you note and I shared that I forgave him and that I loved him. I believe that my check was on hold until I released the bad feelings, replaced them with good and then the GOOD really poured onto me. Thank you so much for letting this be known to me. Now the tears I cry are of joy and nothing else!

My $5,000 Check

As part of my training for my job we were presented with the Secret to watch. I had my doubts. I thought, what the heck is this? We have to watch a video called the secret? Yeah right, more corporate brainwashing. I had no idea what I was in store for once I sat down and watched it. It literally blew my mind. I was immediately intrigued and awed by such a simple concept. Could it really work? I became obsessed with finding out. The first idea I put into practice was the front row parking. And sure enough it worked. As a matter of fact it works everytime. Then i decided to get on the website to find more information. I couldn’t get enough of The Secret. I signed up for notes from the universe. I watched the video over and over. I made my idea book. Then I wrote a check to myself for $5,000 to be paid to me on May 5th. Well it didn’t take long. I had no clue where this money was going to come from but I put my faith in the universe and knew some how some way it would be delivered to me. Sure enough the other day I decided to visit my old place of business to say hi. As I’m making the rounds, Pete, my old boss comes up and says, "I have this for you we didn’t have a forwarding address", and hands me an envelope. I literally got goose bumps. I knew immediately what it was. I raced back to work to share the opening of the envelope with my co-workers. I wanted them to witness first hand The Secret working. Sure enough, inside was a statement, it was my profit sharing which I had forgotten about. The amount...you guessed it $5,129.00. No doubt in my mind, the universe does listen.

I just wanted to take a brief moment to share how the law of attraction is currently working in my life. The day after watching and applying the Secret (recommended to me by the most amazing friend I could ever ask for), I received a call from an old friend in Colorado Springs who was asking if I would be interested in working for him. I said that would be great, as I was hoping to be able to move there for some time. Then in the days before I was to go for my interview/training, I focused on my desire to increase my yearly income by over 5 times. (I currently make around $20,000). Two days ago, during my visit I discovered that the new job would enable me to earn in excess of $100K with better hours, total flexibility, and no strict dress-code! Yay!


My jaw hit the floor!

I was given the video as a gift and watched it and loved it. I bought the book and audio cd’s as well and listen to it on my drive to/from work and read the book when I am home and settled in for the night.

My story started a couple weeks ago when I began to worry about filing our personal taxes that I had procrastinated about. It’s nearing the deadline so I thought I should get moving. I contacted our accountant and when we met I turned over all the information to prepare our returns. That was two weeks ago tomorrow. I started to agonize over the possibility of having to pay a large sum again this year. Last year we paid $11,000 for our federal and state returns, this year I was expecting to pay at least $14,000. That is until I decided to apply The Secret. I thought that I wasn’t going to focus on the $14,000 and started to think about being happy, well content with, paying $11,000, the same as last year. Then I thought, "NO! We will only have to pay $7,000. Our accountant called and he told me he prepared our return and we would have to pay. He then proceeded to tell me the amounts we owed: $4,767 to the IRS and $2,776 to the state. He also said that he reviewed the 2005 return and saw that the preparer had made a mistake and we were owed $577 and ammended the return. DO THE MATH! We owe the IRS and State a total of $7,543. I was stunned.
